CHALLENGES
The La Crosse Area Family YMCA aimed to expand its reach and increase the efficacy of its community engagement. There was a specific focus on improving digital visibility to better highlight mental health resources and support programs for cancer survivors. Additionally, the YMCA needed to effectively promote its community events like the Maple Leaf Run and the services offered at its Community Youth Center to both current members and the wider community, presenting a challenge in balancing broad outreach with targeted engagement.

In the video, Dr. Kyte discusses how places like the YMCA serve as crucial community hubs beyond home and work, fostering social connections and personal growth.

Elevate Media Group partnered with the YMCA to tell the story of Seled, a new mother who found support and community through the YMCA's Community Health Worker Program. Our video highlights how the program, with the help of a dedicated community health worker, provided Seled and her children with a free membership, opening the door to a welcoming and supportive environment.
