About League of Women Voters

In last year’s presidential election, Americans voted in record numbers, casting nearly 158.4 million ballots. According to a preliminary Pew Research Center report, this equates to nearly two-thirds of estimated registered voters and more than six out of ten people of voting age.  According to these metrics, voter turnout was at its highest level since at least 1980, the first year we looked at, and probably even longer.

Why League of Women Voters Selected EMG

The League of Women Voters knew they wanted a creative yet informative media campaign, and Elevate Media Group was there to help. LWV looked to Elevate Media Group to build a campaign to reach and engage all age ranges through traditional media such as tv, radio, billboards, and newspaper as well as social media. More specifically, the League of Women Voters was interested in creating a set of educational, eye-catching, and versatile animated graphics that would be used to help share upcoming and relevant voter information through the community.

Why League of Women Voters Selected EMG

Elevate Media Group was tasked with producing a full media campaign mixing both traditional and new media. Elevate leveraged After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator to produce a series of diverse graphics for both print, digital, and video advertisements. The goal of the campaign was not only to promote voting in general but to call out in particular absentee voting. Animation provided fun, informative, and easily digestible visuals capable of translating well across all media platforms. Prior to the completion of the campaign, Elevate consulted and produced material to reach the area’s large Hmong community which included video, billboards, and social media assets.

The League of Women Voters of the La Crosse Area received a grant and knew what message we wanted to put out, but we didn’t know how. We worked with Steve, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and unfailingly patient with us. We love the images and videos that he created with us, and we continue to use them on our website, our social media, and our print materials. Working with Elevate is a terrific experience!
